On Saturday June 12th our new She-poo puppy named Cookie began the following: She would vomit out clear liquid, but would shake her head as it came out and send it everywhere, she wouldn't eat or drink, and wouldn't open her mouth which would be foaming. We took her to an emergency clinic and all her blood work came back perfectly fine, her parvo test was negative, and after being given and anti-nausea, some food, and some rest, we picked her up the next day and she was totally fine and full of energy. The vet also gave us some deworming meds which we began giving her. Monday morning it happened again and this time we took her to our vet, who in 25 years says he has never seen this. He says it can't be worms because her blood tests and energy are perfect. He has decided it is seizures and put her on valium. She has been fine ever since but I was wondering if someone may have seen this before? I don't want to have to keep her on valium the rest of her life!

Strange. My first inkling was towards Rabies, but obviously the vet blood work would have included that test. Then there could be poisoning, that can happen if cleaners are around, or antifreeze for instance. But puppy would be noticeably sick from poison. The only thing that I can see is in fact seizures. But I'm not a vet, just a pet owner.

I had a shih Tzu and we were out camping and she ate a wild mushroom, and basically had the same symptoms. But I would assume the blood test would pick up on any toxins in the blood.
If it is seizure's you very may well have to keep her on the valume. I also heard mixing green beans in with their diet can reduce the amount of seizure's they have.
Where did you get your puppy from?

Sounds like seizures to me. Our lab has epilepsy and had daily seizures for years, sometimes 20 or more. They lose body control, and the foaming, and clear liquid is part of the seizure.
Like Bella said, green beans work. Our dog was on daily meds, they made him lethargic, dopey, just not the same dog. Another vet recommended the green beans. It's been over 7 years now since he had a seizure, no meds, just the green beans.

o_O if they didn't do a fecal, you wouldn't know if the pup has worms. Just cause her bloodwork is normal and she has normal energy levels doesn't mean she doesn't have worms.
Seems very weird that he hasn't seen this. Second opinion.
Is she retching, or just bringing it up? Did you get x-rays done?
