So how would you handle your sister not talking to you for 6 months? Don't know why she is upset? She speaks to a total stranger and tells the stranger that she is my sister and that we have not spoken in a long while. She tells the stranger that she had to remove herself for awhile. I had no clue she was avoiding me. I thought maybe she was busy with her own life. I always invite her over for dinner and for some uknown reason I never get invited to her home. Any suggestions of the best way to handle it?

If you have asked her why then all you can do is let it ride.

Maybe try to figure out why she is upset. Try to do nice things for her like getting her ice cream, etc. If she is upset at you just shake it off. She probably just wants to annoy you. But if this continues try to make conversation.(compliments, news, etc.) If this continues for over a year seek help from a professional or your parents.
