how do I find the x-intercept for a parabola:rolleyes:

set y=0, find x, same for any graph.

I'll add that you shouldn't forget that if x^2=2 then x=+or- sqrt(2) so a parabola can have zero, one, or two x intercepts. Just something to keep an eye out for.
