Hi,

My wireless has stopped working.

The laptop works when connected by the cable.
Other laptops work on the same wireless signal.

I have a Sony Viao VGN - FS series
An Intel Wireless 22ooBG and I've updated the drivers.

Ive tried numerous things to get it working but can't get any results.

Any ideas anyone.

Ive done all of this too and no change. Response is as below.

ftp localhost (& press enter),
If the response is "connect unknown error number - your windows socket is OK;
Post your ftp result is different.
Enter quit (press enter) at the ftp > prompt to exit ftp.

Also, disable ALL your firewalls - including WinXP firewall

Some have a button on top or a switch on the side.
Be sure wireless is enabled, on router.
Do you see any wireless networks?
Maybe download something like netstumbler to see wireless networks.

Hi, yes, everything is enabled switches are on. I've had it working for a long time before and it has since stopped working.

I can see networks too.

It picks everything up and then switches on and off.
