I have a base for a Domestic sewing machine. It has a beautiful iron work legs with 'Domestic' on both sides and a star in the middle. The pedal portion is missing. It has been used as a lamp table for years. Anyone have any idea what the value if any is?And the sides are starting to rust - any idea what I need to do to clean it up? Prevent rusting? Can I paint the legs without messing it up?
