The wiring to the selenoid

Til you get an answer or diagram, may have a Large Wire from battery to a Large terminal, other Large terminal goes to the starter, Starter engages when ignition is turned on(12 volts to a small terminal), and the ground may go through, Neutral and safety switches, and this connects to the other small terminal.
What is the problem?
