Hi, we recently installed a water softener for our home and are now experiencing a high water pressure reading at our switch (100-110#). My husband has tried many times to adjust it, but is simply unable to determine what is causing this pressure issue from switch to the pump. Any time we run our water, inside house or water hoses, the well pump kicks on and starts spilling a large flow of water out, as it's unable to handle the pressure coming back to it?? Even more strange, once the softener (and new bladder tank) were installed, the water hose spigot right outside the garage wouldn't work unless we turned off the water to the house? This spigot is closest to the plumbing into the bladder tank/water softener. We had a well specalist come out to diagnose, what we felt like, was simply a well pump issue, but he instructed that we reverse the set up of the softener/bladdar tank, so that the plumbing was going to the bladder tank before the softener, but that hasn't corrected the problem... in fact is making the well pump run continuously. HELP.
