I am going through this same thing but how can you get into trouble? WHAT IF she didn't know who was the dad between the two of them and the boyfriend married her before the baby came?

First of all, this thread is from 2007.
Second, if you have a question, it's hard for us to find it when it's piggybacked onto someone else's question. If you're looking for an answer, then it's best to start a new question.
Third, if you allow someone to sign a birth certificate knowing that there is not 100% positivity that they are the father, you can be guilty of fraud by not disclosing who the actual father is/might be.
If you wanted to get married, then that's your choice. You still need to have a DNA test done before you list a father on the birth certificate.

A birth certificate is a legal document. In many areas falsifying a legal document is a crime. If one is unsure whether one of multiple partners is the father, then they should have paternity tests done as soon as the child is born to verify parentage.

That is just it, if she does not know, she needs a DNA test to prove who it is, you can't just guess.
