View Full Version : Do the #4 gound wire for a 200 amp service panel need to be shield

My question is if the ground wire #4 from a new 200 amp service panel to the entrance of the main water line needs to shield

Do I need to run #4 ground wire shield or bare wire from the service box to the cold water .

Either is fine.
