I have a difficult situation. I own my own home and have my girlfirend living with me who I want to leave. The difficult part of this situation is there are children involved. She has 2 from a previous relationship and we have 1 together. She is truly an unfit mother and we have had many problems for a long period, the main reason I have put up with her as long as I have is due to the welfare of my child and her previous 2. It saddens me that at working 55 hours a week while she does nothing but drink that I am the more proper care giver then she. I am concerned for what will happen to the kids without me but I can not take dealing with her anymore. I am willing to take my chances in court to obtain custody of my child but need advice on what I should do on asking/telling her I no longer want to be with her and that she needs to leave my home. Do I serve her a standard eviction notice? Can it just be verbal? I realize I have many difficulties ahead of me but I feel this may need to be the first step.

Since there is child welfare issues, and issues of child custody and problems of child support and more, I would hire an attorney before I did anything to start a progam to work best for you.
