I have a 12volt sensor and want to make it turn on a 12 volt light how do I do this

Uhh... I have noidear what you mean. You will have to more specific with your description of what you actually have and what you want to accomplish to get real help. Punctuation would also help if you want to be taken seriously.

Ok I have A 12 volt passive infared detector for a alarm system I wish to make it turn on a 12volt light the problem I am having is the sensor only puts out .6 of a volt on the alarm side .This will not kick a 12volt relay so is their any way around this problem .The sensor is a ir-tec 530q the light being a 12volt halogen 20 watt.hope this helps. Thanks

Here is your Data Sheet. The alarm output switches from closed contacts to open on detection, you will need a relay to have light come on when motion is detected:

The sensorcontacts are just contacts; they do not supply power. You will need a power source for the relay.

Since this is 12 volts, you can have a charger board and battery to supply power(Light/detection) even when AC power may be lost.
The same power source for the Sensor can be the same as for the Light.
