On Yahoo IM, I blocked an exfriend from messaging. Yet, moments ago, he sent me an IM. How was he able to do this?

Many different ways it can be done. But its not something I wouldn't put here in an open forum.

I don't know about Yahoo, but a years ago there used to be a bug with MSN that basically blocking just made you appear offline rather than stopping messages so they could still send a message and it would pop-up you would just stay at offline status.

I think that's what Yahoo did. Because even though I had him "blocked" it also had an ignore option when I received his messages
