Cooling but fan will not come on at all, not even when I put in on position?

The thermostat. Take it off the wall and put red to green and see if the fan runs

Take green out and put red in that hole?

Take the green and the red both lose and touch them together.

I have a rh and rc which do I use and if does run do I just replace stat? And can lighnting cause this?

You have a wire on rh and rc?? You have 2 separate units?

I thought rh meant " red heat" and rc means "red cool"?

They do, do you have a wire on each of them or a jumper from 1 to the other?

On in each that's how it said to install

If you do not have separate blowers then there will not be a wire on both rh and rc

One is a single red and one is orange an is two wires twisted together? What should I do??

Has worked for 3 years had lightning storm last night now no fan any diy advise? Tried jumping wires no luck
