My puppy is a half chihuahua/zu and she is 6 months old. She had a diarrhoea 2 days ago and her poop was wet and brownish colour. I let her starved for 24 hours then fed her small amount of dog food then she got better, her poop was back to normal. However, she poop a blood half an hour ago. It was all blood and I am really worried and scared. I am bringing her to the vet tomorrow. She is sleeping now. She drank water after she pooped blood. She ate normally today and played as normal. But I am really worried as i dont know what it is and what to do. Please give me an advice of what to do. Thank you.

Go to the vet now. This could be parvo and if it is, time is key.

Is it bad even if she seems well, she's playing and eating properly. I can't go to the vet now as it is already 1 am.

Parasites are usually the most common cause of blood in the stool. The most common parasites that cause blood in the stool are hookworms, whipworms, and roundworms. Protozoans such as coccidia may also cause bloody stools. With appropriate identification of the offending parasites, a veterinarian will prescribe specific dewormers to help get rid of these annoying beings.

How ever Parvo is extremely serious and needs to be addressed right away.

This is a serious disease often found in puppies. Typically, a puppy with Parvo will exhibit vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite and blood in stools. Because this disease can be deadly, puppies suspected of having Parvo should be seen by a vet promptly.
