You need to clean your drain. Rent a snake in Home Depot and snake it as far as snake reaches. You should have a clean out someplace on the wall. If not, remove the washer trap and snake it through that opening.

Sounds like a good idea, but when I try to snake it, it will not make the turn

Try a power snake Can rent at most big box stores.

What size snake are you using ? You should really use 3/8" snake so you clear the pipe as much as possible. But if that won't clear the turns, try 1/4" snake with wide cutter tip first.

I'm pretty sure it's a 1/4.. Are you sure a power snake won't go right through the bottom of pipe?

I am positive. Unless your drains are completely deteriorated - 1/4" elec. Snake will not poke a hole in the pipe.
