OK I have been using mequinol on my body for 3 weeks and it peeled me but I'm not noticing any lightening so far. I know that's not enough time; but I was wondering who has any success stories with mequinol, who is currently using it ? Please share your TRUE experiences ONLY. I have been on other sites like skin care talk and I find some of the stories there unbelievable, and even some of the stuff some people say cannot be true. So please don't say what ''you think''.. only post facts that you know of that can help me and those that are using it.

I will keep updating you with my progress but till then please do share yyour input ladies

Maybe it wasn't legit also you need to mix mequinol with tretinoin. It will not work without tretinoin because tret. Helps you peel. I wish I can get a higher percentage than 10% but its too expensive.

Mequinol is dangerous in high dosag more then monobenzone
Just don't!
There is a reason why vitiligo patients get Benoquin (Monobenzone) for depigmentation and not mequinol

I read that MQ is stronger than hydroquinone, but it is weaker than monobenzone.

It is weaker when you use 2% for some spots...

No mequinol itself is less strong than monobenzone. Regardless of the percentages so no that is incorrect mono is way stronger than mequinol. Now the difference between the two is that mequinol can be used by people of colour or rather people who do not suffer from vitiligo, whereas vitiligo patients have to use monobenzone; it is fairly complicated it has to do with the composition of mono itself and how it works with those suffering vitiligo. Mequinol however is a derivative of hydroquinone, it is stronger than hydroquinone and has far less side effects than high percentages of hydroquinone. Also you can use hydroquinone for a limited amount of time and once you are forced to stop you will go pitch black.

I know the side effects of mequinol and they are far less dangerous than any bleaching agent that I know of to this very day. Now the question is whether it will work effectivately; and this is why I made this forum, I would like to hear from people who have used it and gotten considerably lighter from it.

The girl who had posted pictures and claimed she used it on one of the threads she created have went MIA so it sucks because she is the only one that seems to have used it for a prolonged period. I sent her a lot of private messages but she did not reply I'm assuming she no longer needs to come on this site and find out what products work lol she found the perfect bleaching cream, aah I just wish she would reply to me, I bet she is using it on her body now

You have to be careful purchasing products and ingredients from China as it most likely possibly wasn't genuine pure mequinol. There's always the possibility of what you purchase actually being something else or at the least mixed/diluted with another ingredient such as mercury... which is commonly used and a label later slapped on calling it whatever they wish.

Mequinol isn't known to turn skin green and used along with tretinoin (ra) it will be healthier for the skin as new skin cells are being preoduced. Mequinol isn't a really fast lightener, but with patience and it being genuine, it can lighten a lot and consistently for many. Just have to take precautions when using any lightener, and unfortunately 1 product may work better for another and not effective to the other.

Only way to know 100% if you have the mequinol that you have purchased from China (which ever manufacturing company you ordered from) to have it laboratory tested for purity... 100% purity.

I there.. I'm also looking for experiencess for mequinol.

I been using mequinol for 2 months.. but with no retin A because I do not my skin does not tolerate, extremely peel and get dry for loong periods, and I can't get hydrated.

Si, this is my routine:
Mequinol 10% all the nights
TCA Very light Peels 5% every 2 weeks

My skin looks clear and even, but I do not experience any bleaching effect yet.

Maybe because I use it only at night. The problem with mequinol is the SMELL... horrible.. you cannot wear mequinol on day. You will smell like a carracing car. Gas car.
The good thing is that I do not have experienced any bad effect.. like I was with hydroquinone, the problem es with hydroquinone is is if you expose just one day at sun , even with sunscreen. Your hyperpigmentation comes back very quickly.
Mequinol seems to be slower but with no side effects. It does sting a little, but much less than HQ
