Hey. I'm 22 years old. I had a miscarriage January 1st 2010. I went to the doctor everything was checked out. I was good to go after I stopped bleeding. Well my husband and I having be trying ever since! With no luck. My cycle is usually very regular 28 days. But this last month I was for sure I was pregnant because my period was 2 weeks late. But no luck. It came. Wasted a lot of $ on HPT. I was just wondering why it would be taking this long and if you guys have any opinions if I should go to the doctor soon to see if there is some problem happening. The first pregnancy only took a month after I got off BC. So I would love any input. Thanks.

Odds are all is well and it will happen with a bit more time. Most couples will become pregnant within a year of trying, so that you have been trying for about 4-5 months without success is not unusual. Unfortunate, frustrating, disappointing, but not unusual.
You could certainly go to your doctors and talk to them, but since you are having regular periods, are 22 years old, and got pregnant before without difficulty, it is unlikely they will consider any sort of testing at this stage.
Have you done all you can on your own first to determine when might be your most fertile time? Have you been able to notice any changes to know when you might be ovulating?

Well first off, every women that has miscarriages their body takes time to heal some longer then others.
Just because it only took a month to get pregnant does not mean it will be that easy each pregnancy.
Also it is possible that you could have been pregnant and miscarried very early.
The thing is for 85 percent of normal healthy couples it can take up to a year to get pregnant.
Another thing is that your cycle could be changing because it changes after miscarriage.
