How would I go about to having someone arrested or picked up with a issued writ? He owes over $23,000. In child support.
Thanks in advance.

Writ ? Do you mean a warrant for their arrest for failure to pay child support, not merely a summons to appear in family court ?

You notify the local police of the location of the person who is wanted, if they seem to fail to respond, you can also contact the sheriff offcie where they are at

Yes, thank you. I mean a warrant for their arrest for failure to pay child support. When calling his local polic or sheriff's office; how should I request this? Do I need to survalience his residency and wait till I know for sure that he's there and then call?? How do you recommend that I should go about it?
Any and all suggestions and advice will be very appreciated. You see, I am a single, disabled mother struggling and even went back to school regardless of my disabillity because I want to provide a better life for my children. He owes over $25,000.00
Thank you in advance,

Why not just ask the sheriff how best you can get this warrant served?

Thank you for your response. Although this is through the S.Attorneys office here in Fl. I will attempt that and see what happens.
