I power washed my deck yesterday and our well ran pretty low. Today the gauge on the water tank says it's at 20 and it is usually around 60 to 80. Did I lose air in the tank? Do I need to prime the tank?

What is your volume, a power washer does suck water into the pump if there is not enough volume for it.

Did the pump shut off at 20 PSI or just keep on running? Could you have lowered your water table so that it needs time to build back up? What's your thoughts? Regards, Tom

Tanks don't get primed, but pumps do. Is your pump above ground or in the well?

At 20#, the pump should be on. Is it running? If not, have you tried setting the reset lever on the side of the switch?

The pump is in the well. I think we ran the well dry and it did need time to fill back up. We have water but the pressure is still really low around 30. Even with time it doesn't seem to be improving. I didn't touch any switches or anything.
