My wife wants to leave the state of Tx and go to her sisters in Tennessee where I won't be able to see my kids if I don't agree to what she is asking money wise. Once she leaves will the law make her come back. I know I can file paper work to prevent her from leaving , that's why she is wanting to leave right away so I can't get that filed and stop her. All I want is to see my kids , but I don't want to support her for the rest of our lives if we are not together. I will pay what lawyer says , but I don't want to just sign a paper that she writes up and get taken advantage of.

Couple things... First off, DON'T sign ANYTHING! Secondly, you CAN obtain an emergency order from the family court PREVENTING her from leaving. Thirdly, paying alimony is VERY rare these days, but you WILL be paying child support till they're 18.

By the way. I don't know WHICH lawyer you're talking about... But, you need your own.
