I am a 15 year old nerd going to public school. Everyone hates me, bullies me, teases me, and I didn't do anything. I like to keep to myself, I don't talk to anyone and I eat by myself. They chose me for some reason, I just want it to stop.

Hi, Shinokiba!
Why do you consider yourself to be a nerd, please?
Thanks!

Sweetie listen to me... there is nothing wrong with being different. As for the bullying you need to tell someone. I don't know what state you are living in, but in most states there are bullying laws which will protect you.
There is also a law against cyber-bullying.. Tell your parents or a trusted teacher. You can also call the Superintendent of your school and he is there to protect your privacy and you.
Please do this and remember.. I'll bet even though you think you're a nerd. It isn't so bad to be one. Most of the kids my children went to school with who were called nerds, now have their own businesses and are doing very well.
The bullies are always going to be there hon... and you need to tell someone about the way they treat you. It isn't tattletelling.. it's protecting yourself. I just went through the same thing with my grandson and believe me when you have documentation and the booklet of school zero tolerance against school bullying in your hand and you go to the right people it will stop.
Your not different sweetie.. you are UNIQUE... Blessings and let me know what happens. You can post here anytime and we will help you.. Kit

Honestly it is the quite ones they pick on most because they feel and think that it is an easy target and they will not get challenged.
Also being by yourself and not talking to anyone can rub people the wrong way. Thinking your stuck up or better then everyone else.
Thing you can always be socially awkward or you can some how come out of your shell a bit. Start small talk with some people. Does not mean that you should do a complete make over and change your personality but STAND UP for yourself.
Once you start speaking, standing up for yourself. Then maybe just maybe they will just leave you alone.

Had to spread the rep jesushelper. People used to think I was stuck up too. I was really just shy and almost scared of talking to people. But eventually I broke out of my shell.
Shinokiba, sometimes people are just sort of crummy. I'm guessing you're either in middle school or high school, right? People are so insecure, they pick on others in an attempt to make themselves feel better. And unfortunately it seems they've decided to make you their target. Like the others said, stand up for yourself. And I promise, it eventually gets better. But school gets a lot easier if you've got a friend to get you through it. I'd try to make some friends if I were you. And being "cool" isn't all it's cracked up to be. In 8th grade, the middle of the year, I transferred schools. The "cool" girls immediately took me in. at first I thought I was lucky. After about a week or so I realized I didn't like them at all. They were kind of boring, totally fake, and pretty mean to everyone else. I went to the "loser" table to sit with a girl who I recognized from one of my classes and had seemed nice. Right away she warned me those other girls would never speak to me again if I sat next to her. I sat next to her anyway. And it was so worth it.

Hey little darling. Don't feel bad. I was like this in high school and one of the main girls who picked on me is now playing my role in college while I am making a whole slew of friends... mostly attractive guys. People particularly young people have a pack mentality and if one person doesn't except you chances are they all won't through no fault of your own but through the power of suggestion. JUST HOLD ON. Its hard and I know just as well as you. One day their going to look at you and wonder why they acted that way. Your going to smile and have a better personality from being so thoroughly humbled. I suggest taking up a few hobbies it helps you to meet others who are different like you. I also tried to hide from the verbal abuse I refused to speak at school from the time I got in till the time I left... this makes it harder. Try to talk maybe small compliments will make people like you nothing over the top just maybe I like that hat or whatever. Hold on okay I promise it will get easier.

Hi again, Shinokiba!
I'd still like to know why you consider yourself to be a nerd, if you wouldn't mind sharing about that?
Without knowing more information as to who, what, where and why, I find it difficult to answer further.
Thanks!

Hi there... I hope you're feeling better. Look at one time we have all considered ourselves nerds. My grandson was considered a nerd because he didn't play sports... he loves to play guitar and loves to read. He also wears glasses.
That doesn't make him or you a nerd.. it's called having higher aspirations such as going to College and making a better life for yourself.
Don't let anyone bring you down and remember what I said about the bullying. Tell someone and it will more than likely stop... Kit

High school, the days, I was chess club, debate club and more, actually had a pocket protector. I soon found out that what was "cool" in high school, was funny as we grew older, the jocks often ended up working at the local gas station or were still the stock clerk at the grocrey store years latter ( not that any job is not good) the nerds went on to college, because enginners, managers and more and the jocks ended up working for them latter. For me it was college, law school, military, justice department and state police angency. I now know ways to kill using that pocket protector.
First don't sit by yourself, don't be a loner, make friends plenty of other nerds who are lonely also.

If it's any help at all...
Definitely words of wisdom and truth by Fr_Chuck, above!
When I was in junior high and high school, I was also someone people might consider to be a "nerd".
I never seemed to really "fit in" with the "in" crowd. Just with the few who were like myself.
Now, I'm very successful in the eyes of myself and many others, doing the types of things for which I was once considered to be a "nerd" for doing.

Just for the record. If your going to address someone on this or any other board please either use the generic (to OP) or the name they have chosen to use. Pet names aren't allowed here. Little darling is inappropriate. Thanks.

I'll bet you're very good at math and computer. I always hated math and there are a lot of people like me who would loved to be skilled in math and computers. Keep on doing the best you can. And I know you'll go far.
You have friends here and I'll bet you could have friends at school if you try. Good luck young man and blessings to you... Kit

The future is now. Do you know how many things you can become in this world knowing and being good at math and computers. They go hand and hand. It is your future and our future because the youth are our only saving grace. Better technology and even scientific breakthroughs because of the knowledge of math and computers together.
Your not a nerd.
You're a scientist,
You're a biologist,
You're a chemist,
You're a pharmacist,
You're a doctor,
You're a nurse,
You're an Engineer,
You're an astronaut.
You can be ANYTHING you want to be. Do not let a bunch of idiotic twaddlers dictate to you what is good and what is not. What is a nerd and what is not.
Because you my friend can be anything you want and your our future and you will have a good career as long as you do not listen to what others might think of you. Do and stay with what your good at.

Joe is right. You are a winner! DO NOT let these people make you think otherwise. Five years from now where will they be? Jail or making someone else miserable. You are a fine person and don't you forget it... Kit:)

There are people in this world who gain a sense of power by hurting someone else. Most of the time these people have low self esteem and can only feel better about themselves by bullying others.
To say it shouldn't bother you would be wrong. It bothered me when I was your age and even now, I still feel a little hurt if someone doesn't like me or I feel I'm being treated coldly by someone.
The good thing is I know I'm a good person and I make mistakes and I'm very forgiving. I used to go into the bathrooms at school and cry when I was young. I don't do that anymore and it's because I like myself.
It took me a long time to realize that everyone doesn't have to like me as long as I like myself. Sure I get hurt but that's part of life and it doesn't matter.
These bullies are just jerks who can't find anything better to do than to pick on someone who is smarter and who has a bright future ahead of them.
Young man remember what I said... there are rules and you can do something about the bullying and it will be legal. Please talk to someone you trust and they will help you.
There must be a teacher or a staff member who you can confide in. Remember.. you are special and smart and you have hopes and dreams. You will achieve those by studying and focusing on your future.
You keep posting... OK

Hi there... Are you doing what I advised about the bullying? Look on the web and find the rules for your state and take them to a teacher or the principle. I want you to gain some confidence in yourself. Don't be afraid to tell.
Also when these "Einsteins" start harassing you... walk away and smile. That makes them aware that you are not afraid.(even if you are).
There are cameras in school now and if the bullying continue go to the head of the school and have your parents request a copy of the bullying incidents.
You have friends here and don't you forget it. Hugs to you:)

This is another case of reading the history of the OP - he admits he's a great liar and wanted advice on taking amphetamines prior to his exams "or else he would fail." Everyone else is a "*****" (that's a direct quote).
I think I have a suspicion why he has no friends.
Will also mention he went off on Wondergirl because he is too smart to post "personnel" information like his age - am I reading "I am a 15 year old nerd going to public school"?
