I often find myself tired and lazy, I try to eat some good energy food but then I end up eating too much and feel bloated and even more lazy! Lol... my question is... what are some good, easy, and quick things I can do to get more energy... certain excersises? Meditations? Foods? Drinks? Music? Just things that will help me feel good and give me some quick energy... Thanks!

When I want more energy I jog, or power walk. It works every time ! Then later on a good power nap. It's a well known fact that working out, walking, any cardio work out is an endorphin boost.

Exercise and a good diet are vital. Try eating more blueberries, nuts, whole grains, soy, and fresh vegetables.

Hi, strawberrylover!

Are you getting enough sleep in general, please?

Thanks!

Hi again, strawberrylover!

The amount of sleep that a person will need every night will vary throughout their life.

I currently, really require about 10 to 12 hours of sleep. Usually, I get a lot less than that, though.

I used to function best on only about 5 to 6 hours of sleep. If I slept more than that, I would tend to feel tired more often.

Thanks!

Hi Clough, generally speaking the amount of sleep you get depends on a natural sleep aid in your body called melitonin. Babies have plenty, that's why they sleep so much. As we get older it decreases. That's why we sleep less as we get older.

Drink enough water [enough and not too much].
Exercise.
Drink juice like Gatorade.
Eat a piece of dark chocolate.
Some of these things are mood boosters, which maybe could effect your energy level as well.
Get enough sleep, drink water and eat healthy [fruits, vegetables, lean meats, etc], and exercise regularly.

Sleep also depends on the energy you use every day, and the normal patterns of it throughout your life. Teenagers need a bit more sleep than adults. Try to get 8-10 hours about as a basis to try to understand what amount of sleep works for you.
