My husbands ex wife gave up rights to their daughters a year ago due to her now husbands abuse and I adopted them.. ever sense then she writes now and them to see how we are doing. For some unknowingly reason she feels her and I are best friends. She still lives in Florida (im I'm Idaho) and is now devorcing he hubby. I just recently have started getting emails from her again saying that she is pregnant and doesn't know who the father is and so on. (her family has a lot of mental issues, and they don't have a lot to do with her. In fact she really doesn't have anyone to turn to. I think that's why she clings to me so much.) Well she asked me if she could put me on her will as the baby's guardian.. my questian is.. if I am on the will as the guardian and I see that the environment the baby is in is not OK do I have any rights to step in? By not OK she has a pedophile as her "friend" and has all these different guys the is still very well " friendly" with... and that's not even half of it...

Hello lil:

If you can arrange for her to see her kids WITHOUT putting them in danger, I'd sure do it.

No. Her will will only be effectvie when she dies.
