Hi,
I had an abortion last week at nine weeks pregnant! And think I've made the biggest mistake of my life,my partner was certain he didn't want it and made it sound like the worse thing that could have happened to us,so after getting no-where trying to change his mind I got rid of it! I was on the depo injection and already have 2 children I feel really guilty but all I can think of now is getting pregnant and having a baby!I was just wondering has anyone felt like this after their abortion?is it my hormones?am I just guilty?

Many women feel the same way. Until you actually go through it, you just don't know how you will feel afterwards. Some women are relieved and feel it was for the best, others find they are not so sure, and still others feel they were pressured into it and regret their decision. Hormones can be a part of it as well.
You obviously can't undo the past... and since you were on the injection you were doing what you could to prevent an unplanned pregnancy.
You are doing what you can to prevent another, as long as you are using the injections when you are supposed to be. This shouldn't effect your ability to have another baby in the future when you are ready to. (although some women find it can take awhile after coming off the injection)
You have had a loss, even if it was something you chose, and for that I am so sorry that you now are feeling as you do. It will get better, but if you find you have difficulty it may help to speak to a counselor at a pregnancy crisis type centre, your gp, or even friends and family.
