No start - get jump starts, happened several times - I had charged battery.
Had battery checked at parts store - told dead cell.
Bought new battery - so I had alternator checked at parts store - said it was good.
The battery is being drained - tested Voltage - 12. 5 - drops to 11.3 when car is running/ idling, light go dim and a small static humbuzz when hazard are turned on.
Wondering if this could be voltage regulator or alternator and the guy at parts store doesn't know how to work it ands if anyone else has experienced this.
Thanks ,
C

. Adjust idle speed to 700 rpm.

. Test regulated battery voltage--it should be 14 to 15 volts:

Based on what you said, it sounds like the alternator is bad.
