Can anyone tell me the pH and functional group of pioglitazone hydrochloride? It is also known as Actos and is a medication used for type 2 diabetes.

I don't know the exact pH, but it should be slightly alkaline, since it naturally secreted in bile, which is slightly alkaline, or practically neutral. It should be around pH 7.
