Okay I have been served with the summons. I was not able to do a lot of research before I answered it. So stupid me answered. Deny 1-7 because defendant has requested copys of Proof of debit. To date has never been received. Okay so have I lost my Affirmitave defences because they were not stated in the answer? Now what do I do They sent the Plaintiff's first set of requests for admissions. I have a few questions prepaired for defendants first set of requests for admissions. Just got sent a notice that we now have to go to mediation. What do I do?

You go to mediation and present your evidence, make your arguments.
This should be its own thread, not a piggyback, and I have asked that it be moved.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
I'm totally unclear about what you answered and didn't answer. But Judy is correct, you prepare your questions and ask them at the mediation hearing.

Move to amend your answer, including the affirmative defenses.

Like Scott already said, I don't know what you answered or what you denied at this point. Are you the defendant or the plaintiff? You said you were served a summons but I don't know if that's due to a counter suit or if you're the original defendant.
As was already mentioned, you simply prepare your questions and ask them during mediation... although it's kind of hard to advise you not knowing what you may or may not have sent back to the court and/or other party.
Let us know what happens.
