Okay. First, don't panic. Get yourself to the nearest pet store asap. At the pet store you will need to buy KMR (kitten milk replacement) and a bottle. For the nipple size of the bottle you should try to judge the size of Momma nipples and compare.

You'll need to make sure the kittens stay warm, because they can't regulate their body temperature, yet. That means keeping them in a room without fans or drafts and keeping them surrounded by blankets. Don't use an electric heating pad, because it'll burn them. If you can get a hold of a water heating pad (one that you fill up with hot water) you can put it under the blankets they lay on.

Whenever possible, lay with them on your chest against bare skin. They'll draw comfort from the sound of your heartbeat and warmth from your skin.

You're also going to need to help them relieve themselves. Use a warm, wet cotton ball and rub/massage them right under their bottoms until they pee and/or poop. You'll need to do that after every time they eat, for the next week or two.

Your cat might have gone into heat. If she got pregnant again, her body would've stopped producing milk. She may have left them because she could no longer feed them.

If the mom comes back watch her closely with the kittens. My one cat had 8 kittens and left for two days, we fed them and kept them warm by using ht water bottles placed under a dog bed (you don't want them to be to close to the kittens because they may get burnt or to hot), anyway when the mom came back we gave her the kittens and she ended up killing two. We took the other six away from her and raised them ourselves. Not all cats will do this but I'd still keep an eye on them when there with her.

- if she doesn't come back or doesn't accept them you can always place an ad on a local classified ad website looking for a mother cat.. Our other cat was used three times to raise abandoned kittens.
