My lights in the laundry room and bathroom which are on the same breaker blink when the washing machine is agitating. The washer is on a separate breaker. I've checked for loose wiring and found none could it be something else?

Even though the washer is on its own circuit, the washer is drawing high amps causing the voltage to sag at the panel, and the lights are reacting to this voltage dip.

This can be caused by a loose connection in the feeder to the panel, or a loose breaker, or a loose connection in the meter.

This assumes the washer and lighting circuit, while on their own separate circuits, do not share a neutral in a 3 wire cable from the panel to the lights and washer.

Thank you I'll check it out.

I checked the screws at the terminal strips and tightened down some loose ones and put the wire in again at the breaker to make sure the connection was good but no help. How can I tell if the problem is in the meter?
