I have lost the sound on my computer and have checked all of the sound connections. They seem OK. The question is, "How do I get my sound back?"

What OS is this? Do you have a "speaker icon" in your lower task bar? Does it have a red line through it? If so you can right click it and see what the problem is.

After trying the above, possibly try re-booting your sound controller via Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Device Manager and find your sound manager and right click > Disable and right click > Enable.

This is for Windows based systems only though.
