My nephew is 31. He served 6 months for stealing under $100 several years ago. He got out and was told not ot leave the state of MD. He did, they picked him up and gave him 4 years with 2 years suspended. Now, after a year of being released, his girlfriend put an exparte on him for harassment (no violence). Will this mean he has to serve the rest of his remaining parole in jaile in the state of MD.

Exparte is a legal term for expediant. The party is looking to expidite an order of protection most likely. He will be served and then there will be a hearing. Now depending on what he said it may or may not be a clear violation of parole. For right now it's a civil matter.
