I've always wanted to get into the medical field.. I served in the us military ended up getting discharged with a bad conduct.. the offense was a violent one.. served 6 months in the brig.. want to go to nursing school but I don't want to spend all that time and money for nothing if I am not able to get my nursing license or heck even a pharmacy technician certification! Help please??

Nurses, and oh heck, pharmacy technicians have to be pretty even tempered, matau. All you can do is ask at the school of your choice, come clean with them and tell them what happened, they can only say NO.

If your charge was the equivalent of a felony, you won't get a license. But, if it could have been a misdemeanor in civilian court, then maybe.
