I'm looking a film that includes the part of this scene: an unstable wife goes nuts, stricken the fear of losing her husband, after hearing that her husband is in the hospital. The wife travels throughout a town trying to get to the hospital, smashing cars and obstacles in her way. She's driving a Cadillac - a 60's or early seventies model. I want to say the actress is Shelley Winters but I'm not certain and I saw the film in the late 1970's. The character ends up crashing her Cadillac in to the entrance area of the hospital emergency room and dies there. Can anyone help?

Found answer to my own question. Slaughterhouse 5 is the movie. Shelley Winters was not the actress in the Cadillac.
