My period is 4 days late and I don't feel like my period is going to be coming at all. Ive never been late or skipped a period in my life. So far all the pregnancy tests I've taken have come up negative. I want to take a pregnancy test now. Will it give me a reliable reading or should I wait a few more days?

It could give you a reliable reading, but some women don't get a positive result for a few weeks even when they are pregnant.

You may just be having an off cycle... it happens, even if it hasn't before. Give it another week and see what happens then try another test at that time if still no period.

If negative still, wait until next month and see if you just happened to skip a month. May not be the norm for you, but it can happen. You can obviously try a couple more tests before that time to ease your mind, or see your doctor sooner... they may do a blood test for you.
