Hello everyone, I'm obviously new here and hope to find help. I have a client who wants me to run a dryer vent through a glass block window. Can I cut a 4-1/16" hole in it without shattering or cracking? Or how can I remove 1 block of glass? Thanks

To cut into glass block you will need a very expensive diamond tipped hole saw.
You can try to smash out the block with a hammer or use a thin blade and see if you can remove the bond between the other blocks.
Is this is a glass block basement window or something of that size?

Take out a glass block by drilling 4 holes in the corners, its only mortor, then slowly work your way down each side with a chisle or drill bit. Put in the metal dryer went and mortor around it. The blocks are probably 5".
