How do you determine can light spacing over kitchen counters?

This is relative to size of kitchen, number of lights and wattage used.

Still can't tell. For general lighting and an 8 ft. ceiling, the light cone should slightly overlap. If task lighting they are directed at the task. Start at 2 ft. from the walls and about 5-6 ft apart, maybe 8 cans.

Can u give us a lay out of kitchen cabinets. This will help with light location.
