If you break probabtion, how long do you go to jail for? Until prbabtion is over? Or do you get out of jail and then still have probabtion?

You can be sentenced to the original sentence if probation had not been given PLUS a sentence for violating OR you can be placed back on probation and given a second chance.

Only the Judge knows.

It all depends on what the judge sentences you to at the probation violation hearing.

1. what was the violation, was it another crime ( you also have to deal with that)

2. you can be sent to prison for the entire probation time ( not just the remainding, example, if you had 3 years probation, and after one year violated, you could be sent to prison for the entire 3 years. Not the two remaining.

3. but they can send you back for one year and back to probation,
