Hi,

I have an Axia 20E boiler that fails to work properly. It's manufactured by Cosmogas and sold by Embassy Industries or Mestek Industry. I've asked around from people that have had them and all I hear are bad experiences with that brand of boiler.

The Axia Boiler is a combi-boiler. It's supposed to be energy efficient and heat my baseboards and my domestic hot water. The darn thing simply shuts down in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. It cannot keep the house warm when it does run.

I've called the manufacturer, the plumber and the local sales rep. They just shrug their shoulders and say "there's nothing wrong".

WHAT CAN I DO??

Has it done this sense day 1? Sounds like a instulation problem to me.

I've had the same problem. The company is in litigation with a number of customers who's boilers shut down for no apparent reason and/or fail to produce enough heat (to spec).

Stay away from Cosmogas, Embassy Boilers or their parent company, Mestek.
