I had a little accident with my RV going very slowly fortunately. I almost, a near miss, in which a tapered rock I went over was about 6 inches high and caught the attachment ABS pipe, moving it about 50 degrees and naturally breaking the connection to the gray water drain. For some reason both the gray and black water valves are leaking and it was suggested to change all parts that are below the 3 inch main drain pipe. I’ve purchased both 2 and 3 inch valves and am getting a list of the needed ABS parts needed. I understand that PVC is a better quality pipe and it might be easier to find the shapes and angels I need. Whatever I use will a new piece of pipe be better connection wise then using the pipe where it twisted and separated? If the same connection point is used how clean must the old surface be? I ask because all items are in a limited work space. TIA
