I am a 22 year old woman I will turn 23 in July. I would like to know what normal blood pressure would be for someone my age. My blood pressure has been about 100/55. Is that normal or should I be worried. I should probably tell you my weight and height too I don't know if that takes in some factor too. I weigh 140 and I am 5'10

120/80 is textbook perfect for blood pressure. 100/55 is a little low but should be OK. Have you asked your doctor about it? Has your doctor told you that you should be worried? Do you have any symptoms like faintness or dizziness when standing up? My blood pressure usually runs lower than that and I'm told it is healthier than having high blood pressure.

Ok, then you need to stand up slowly to make sure you don't stumble or fall and hurt yourself.

I'd make an appointment with my doctor, if this were happening to me. It might be something going on with your blood sugar or something in your balance center (middle ear). Please get it checked out.

I agree, if you are getting dizzy and things are going black when you stand up, you need to see a doctor. This is called orthostatic hypotension and there are medical reasons for it.
