I am working in 50 storey project-the question is regarding fire fighting pipe riser support-fire fighting riser runs from basement to 50th floor in a open shaft -there is no slab inside the shaft to support with riser clamps-hence it is supported with u-bolts every 4 mtr-but the consultant is requiring u-straps. Advice which type(u-bolt or u-strap) is more reliable technically.
