I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to identify a relatively old war movie (although it was in colour) I remember watching with my parents as a child. I have no idea about who starred in it, nor who directed it, or even when it was made.
All I can remember is that the plot basically involves a team of Special Forces or British Commandos spending days and days rowing across a vast expanse of water on a daring raid to blow up ships/U-boats in a harbour.
I've searched the net but all I could find was a movie called The Sea Wolves, which I don't think is right. For some reason I believe it was set in the pacific ocean as I have memories of the soldiers being affected by the heat as well as exhaustion.
It would mean a great deal if anyone could provide me with a name or more info.
