I recently purchased a condo that had been totally updated. None of the three bathroom sinks drain until they get to be about 1/2 full, then they drain until there is about 1/2 inch of water remaining and then stop and drain the rest of the way very slowly. Every thing else in the place drains OK, just the three bath room sinks.

This is a bit odd. If you said one sink did this I'd says a partial clog at or after the trap. However, chances of all 3 getting the same issue are too improbable. Have you tried to start with removing the pop ups for a quick look?

Would these bowls have a overflow hole near the top of then bowl? Let me know, Tom

Also answer Tom's question. Remove the traps, if the traps are clear rod into the wall with a small 1/4" snake on a drill or hand held drum. Cobra™ Drum Auger - Augers - Ace Hardware (http://www.acehardware.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1280064)

There is an overflow hole about 1 1/2 inches below the top of the sink

Does the water release air bubbles as it is draining?

Not that I have noticed. When it finally drains It flows very fast producing producing a whirl wind type funnel but as soon as air from the funnel hits the drain it stops flowing fast and finished draining rather slowly.
