Hello, I was name the power of Attorney of an estate. Peter Cain, estate left his daughter Lindsay, 2,500,000 gbp, and but a condition that she needed to be engaged to collect it. I have not been disclosed the fee schedules, Wire Transfer taxes, then another tax British Government Cross Border Transfer Charges, totally over 15,000. My finance is in England, I don't understand if she has a copy, supposedly of the Will, and the power of Attorney why the money needs to transfer to my bank account in the states US

Your question has a strange sound about it. Maybe you are being scammed.

And all the fees come out of the money they will get, you don't pay it up front first. If they are wanting you to pay that large fee up front, then it is a fraud.

If it is real, you hire an attorney in the US who would work though all of this.

First and foremost, do you in fact KNOW this Peter Cain?

If so, then Fr Chuck's advice is golden: get a U.S. attorney involved.

If not, it's a scam and should be ignored!
