I am currently looking to train to become a Nail Technician. There are so many courses available that it seems impossible to decide on which one is value for money and provides the right skills I require.
I would appreciate any responses in respect of any good or bad experiences or any recommendations any one has in respect of any courses or in the career itself.
Thank you

I was a nail tech for 6 years. If you could clarify what you mean about your courses, maybe I could help you. I will give you some information to see if this will help you.
One of the most popular kinds of nails are acrylic nails. Another is fiberglass nails.
As far as the courses go, I do not understand what kind of information you are looking for. You will need to take a class at a beauty school to get a license to become a nail technician in most states. Usually you can just take the class for manicuring/pedicuring/nail specialist at a beauty school or community college. This class will be specifically for being a nail technician. Some people used to be able to take the whole cosmetology class and then they could do hair and nails. If you just want to do nails, check with your local beauty school or community college for classes.
Being a nail tech is nice if this is the kind of work you think you would like to do. You have to build up a good following of clients in order to make pretty good money. Getting into a busy shop is the easiest way to build up your clientele.
It is a pretty good career, although I do not know what area you are in and how much of a demand for nail techs there are.
I think if you would like to sit all day and like to do work like this, it is a good career. It is good to have the patience to do this kind of work before you get into it. You will also be doing lots of customer service such as helping the customers with purchases, making appointments and dealing with any problems with their nails that they may have. You will be doing manicures, pedicures and false nails. Sometimes you have a choice on what kind of services you will provide depending on where you are working.
