How is trigonometry involved in the field of computer engineering?

There are a lot of possibilities.

On the programming side of things. Any sort of game using real world physics will handle a lot of trig functions in their sprites, and other components. Any kind of calculations needing to be made in a program may have to use trig based functions.

On the Electrical side of things. Trig is a huge part of explaining wave functions and how electricity operates.

I am sure there is a far better explanation, but that's what comes to mind for me.
