Do you know where the painting originated from? Do you have any additional information about the painting that could help in determining who the artist is?

It was sold to me as a copy of a picture from a magazine or brochure. I think I bought it from a Goodwill auction. I don't remember exactly.(I have if for a few years) Could you be the Mary Horton of the piece?

My fiance's grandmother was Mary Horton. She mostly did watercolors that we know of, but this looks like something she could have done. Unfortunately, she has long since passed and we can't say for sure if this was indeed her work. The signature doesn't look familiar, which was why I asked when and where, but signatures can change over time.

I too have a painting by Mary Horton. This one a watercolor, purchased from a consignment store in Westborough Massachusetts. I would love a little history on your fiance's grandmother. Trying to fill in the gaps on this painting.
