Should a Sgt. At a jail be demeaning to his Cpl. On Facebook? Is this OK for him to do for everybody to see this. How would I go about handling this. I don't think this is right. He is a freakin idiot and he stupid choices needs to be stop. Need some advice on how to make this stop. Any Ideas, suggestions, or examples will be greatly appreciated.
He actually puts things on his Facebook for everybody that he friends can see all this. I don't see why they don't put a stop to this. B/c another officer put in a grievance but they only had a verbal talk with them. Not a clear stop to them getting on their Facebook while at work.

Personally, I'd delete him from Facebook. Sadly this would probably make matters worse, but it would stop him harassing you.
I don't think it's okay for him to do this. Not at all. Do you have a supervisor that's above him that you could talk to?

Agreed... Delete him from Facebook, or at least give him limited rights to your page, where he can't post anything on your page, only view things.

Personally you report these posts or send copies to the HR department. I will assume these are government positions, and most likely at the county level in a jail.

I'd say it's NOT okay for him to be demeaning.
I agree with Fr_Chuck - I'd print some of the Facebook data and take it to Human Resources. Also document anything else that he does that's out of line.

I agree with the others (have to spread rep). Also, you should report it to HR and if you can, provide them a printed copy of the inappropriate posts. And plan exactly what you are going to say, "I do not feel it's appropriate for my supervisor bash me on the internet - I feel harassed. Can you please step in and see that it's stopped?" Then you have to let them decide how to handle it.
Though he just got a talking to last time, I can assure you that given that he's already been reprimanded once for this same behavior by someone else, they will not take kindly to him doing it again and the next reprimand will probably be more serious.
In the meantime, make sure you don't ever use work computers for anything personal, and make sure your own Facebook page has nothing on it about him. Unfriend everyone you work with before you complain to prevent anyone at work from getting into your page.
Take care!
