I would like to be a OBGYN when I'm older. Im doing a speech on becoming one. I need to include a expert in my speech. Can you answer these for me please?

1. What is your name?
2. How many years have you been a OBGYN?
3. Why did you want to become a OBGYN?
4. Where did you go to school?
5. Did you need any degrees?
6. Do you have any advise for me?

Thanks♥

There are no obgyns as experts on this site. We do have DrBill, so maybe he can answer some of your questions. I'll PM him to read your question.

Meanwhile, check this page of the Occupational Outlook Handbook --

Physicians and Surgeons (http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos074.htm)

Number 1 is an issue. Asking someone to give their real name on the internet is not okay. There's a huge risk of identity theft.

We do have a Doula on the site and we also have a labor and delivery nurse. I'm not sure that we have an OBGYN.

The place you are most likely to locate a specialty medical practitioner that will lend you an ear and response is through a medical school, usually attached to a larger university. Google "medical schools," [your city].

Wish I could be of more assistance.

We do have an RN that works in this specialty and hopefully she may pick up on your request.

I am an OB nurse (RN), not a doctor. We don't have any OB/GYNs registered here. I agree with DrBill about checking into a local medical school or teaching hospital.
