I went out with a girl from grad school a couple of times right before finals started about three weeks ago. The dates could not have gone better but after the second date, she got weird and told a mutual friend that she is not sure how she feels or if she is into me, and she cannot think about hanging out until finals are over. She is a very good student, but it seemed like a convenient out to me.

I feel that part of the problem was I came on a bit too strong and was too easy to win over. After hearing her opinion from our mutual friend I backed off a bit but kept in touch a little during finals so that the situation was still alive. I texted her once, a week later to which she responded to, and called her a week after that to which she did not answer.

After she didn't return my last call, I was prepared to give up and then she texted me the other day to congratulate me on finishing fnals, which confused me. What I need to know is does it seem like she changed her mind? Also, I am going to see her tomorrow at an end of the semester party, how should I act toward her?

I think you should confront her ask hers wats up? And if she's still acting shady 4 get her. Because its hard enough to find a boy that really like u and wants to get to know you and not get bin your pants, if she doesn't appreciate that forget her.

You only dated her a couple times, so you really weren't involved in a romantic relationship with her at all.

If you see her just talk casually to her - coming on too strong will only force her to run away. Besides, you don't want to get a reputation as a stalker!

Agreed... don't come on too strong and seem desperate.

If the date went well, that's great, but if she feels weird, then that's how she feels. You can't change that.

So when you see her next, just be cool, be friends, and leave it at that. If she is interested, she will let you know, but don't stress, take it easy

Slow down a lot, and just have fun getting to know each other. She isn't going to just fall in your lap after a few dates.

Stay cool, calm, and collected because she did call you back when her finals were done. Go slow and see where it leads without those preconceived expectations.
